On May 28, 1892, In Chicago, IL, the first elevated train – which consisted of six wooden olive green and yellow coaches operated by steam locomotion – took its inaugural trip down the elevated “Alley L” from Congress Street to 39th Street.
The 'L' was innovative, efficient, and brought the city together. A staple item in the city of Chicago to this day. That's what we will continue to strive to be in Tucson. Innovative, Efficient, and a hub to bring the community together!
